Yas Marina
Yas Marina Circuit was unveiled on 30 October 2009 with the final race of the Formula One™ World Championship – the inaugural Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – to a crowd of around 50,000.
Firmly established in the F1™ calendar, Yas Marina Circuit is considered one of the most technologically advanced circuits in the world. As a training ground and home for motorsports success in the Middle East, it is Yas Marina Circuit’s ambition to have a UAE national competing as a driver in F1™ within 10 years.
Yas Marina Circuit has now gone through a massive reconfiguration of the F1™ track and improved the drivers’ overtaking opportunities, as well as amplified the competitiveness of all motorsport events.
